Advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights for the Filipino Families
Since 2015, GM Bicol continues to muster its strength to advance SRHR advocacy in the region.
2022 ended with GM Bicol being able to provide counseling & SRH education, and HIV community-based screening to 1,350 individuals.
In 2022, close to 4,000 individuals received messages on SRHR - HIV, HIV services, STIs, and SOGIE, through educational discussions, one-on-one counseling, online platforms, media engagements, forums, and partners-led activities in which GM Bicol has participated as co-organizer and/or resource person.
GM Community Center located in Daraga, Albay now serves as a halfway house for clients who need a temporary place to stay while visiting a health professional for their health needs in Albay.
We have 47 member volunteers who are trained and DOH-certified CBS motivators and peer educators.
Every number has a face, and every face has its individual stories.
