As of December 30, 2020, GM Bicol is pleased to report the following:
1. ARVayanihan
GM Bicol activated its Community Extension and Services Committee to create a small group that will facilitate linking affected PLHIVs to the nearest ARV refill station in the Bicol region.
It also assisted Bicolanos who were stranded outside the region because of the enhanced community quarantine due to COVID-19 outbreak.
To date, we are serving 41 PLHIVs.
2. GM Bayahinan
As a community of advocates, the group is assisting selected PLHIVs in the region who were severely affected by the enhanced community quarantine.
Hygiene kits, food packs, seeds for backyard gardening, and masks are being distributed. With the help of Hubs, the organization is able to identify those who most needed the assistance. To date, we are serving 100 PLHIVs.
The same packs were also being shared with frontliners. To date, we have distributed packs to 30 fronliners.
Relief packs composed of food and hygiene kits were donated to Home for the Aged in Sorsogon City.
150 windowed customized masks where distributed to members of the Albay Association of the Deaf, with the fund support from The Forum.
